Keeps management advised of project accomplishments and major problem areas as well as budget and schedule status. A leader who directly manages others is responsible for driving the performance of each direct report and the team as a whole by clarifying expectations, understanding capabilities and motivators, and guiding associate development.**Key Responsibilities:*** In collaboration with the Corporate Product Line Team Leader and the Operations Functional Staff, develop and implement a "Program Plan" using the methods and templates as defined in the Operations Program Management (OPM) Playbook.* The functional departments as defined in Operations include, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Facilities, Procurement, Supplier Quality, Global Supply Chain, Plant Operations, and Operations Program Management* To reach out as required to the Outside North America (ONA) facilities for the coordination and execution of the program deliverables.* Program Plan development must also consider the inclusion of "non-Operations" departmental landmarks including but not limited to Product Engineering, Product Line Team, Customer Validation and other significant events, Allison Staff and Operations Management Team reviews.* Responsible and accountable to maintain program timing, cost, and quality by working up, down, and across the organization in a collaborative, professional, and catalytic manner.* Organizes, schedules, and conducts internal launch and gate reviews highlighting the deliverables that would have a negative effect on the cost, quality, and delivery of the program.* Effective utilization of the "Recovery Plan" to maintain program deliverables.
