Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)

POSITION OVERVIEW
  • The Pod Lead drives and manages high-impact data delivery and operational projects end-to-end in close collaboration with Technical Program Managers. The team’s primary mission is to ensure advanced computer vision features—including person, vehicle, and motion detection—strictly meet quality and product standards across release milestones and Post Launch Model Releases (PLR). This role bridges hardware, data pipelines, firmware, and science to guarantee robust model performance.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and drive assigned operational and data delivery projects end-to-end, partnering with technical program managers once product requirements are concrete.
  • Assure feature quality and performance validation for person, vehicle, and motion detection against core product specifications.
  • Track all critical action items across release milestones, workstreams, and Post Launch Model Releases (PLR), reporting status to the lead Program Manager.
  • Lead cross-functional defect investigations across Firmware, Science, and Product teams whenever quality issues or bugs are escalated.
  • Verify device data and video-collection pipelines operate accurately within designated environments prior to collection, supporting live collection and feeding technical findings back to Data and Science teams.
  • Escalate operational risks, timeline blockers, and quality discrepancies to key stakeholders in a proactive manner.
  • Step in hands-on with data collection or data annotation tasks whenever additional capacity is required to meet release deadlines.
  • Mentor and provide operational guidance to L3 and L4 team associates.
TOP 3 REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Program/Project Management: 3+ years managing cross-functional technical/operational projects end-to-end.
  • Cross-functional Technical Collaboration: 3+ years partnering directly with engineering, data/science, and product teams.
  • Metrics & Program Requirements: 3+ years defining program requirements and leveraging data/metrics to drive process and quality improvements.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS
  • PMP or equivalent industry project management certification.
  • Experience working with data collection pipelines, annotation workflows, or firmware/hardware builds.
  • Working knowledge of software build and deployment lifecycles.
  • Strong executive document-writing ability (status reports, blocker documentation, technical summaries).
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

A detail-oriented, technically adept operations or program manager with proven experience bridging the gap between hardware/firmware teams and data science workstreams. They demonstrate a proactive, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, comfortable handling both high-level stakeholder tracking and direct execution (data collection/annotation) when timelines demand it. Communicates crisply across technical disciplines and thrives in a structured, onsite lab/office environment.
