Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Program Lead for Operations to drive large-scale cross-functional initiatives across North American manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain networks. You will collaborate with senior leaders, customers, and partners to deliver projects on time and within budget, fostering continuous development and sustained performance improvements.

The role requires extensive experience in manufacturing environments, Lean Six Sigma, and program management, with travel 25–50%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years operations management and/or large-scale manufacturing capital project management responsibility
• Lean-Six Sigma Greenbelt or Black Belt training required; other comparable LSS certifications may be considered
• Experience with Lean Material Replenishment, Flow Systems (Replenishment Pull Systems, CONWIP, Heijunka, Tugger Train use), and TPM
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, supply chain, or related field
• Advanced degree preferred but not required
• PMP certification preferred but not required
• Significant finance experience, especially P&L responsibility
• Experience in discrete and continuous manufacturing environments, make-to-order and build-to-stock models
• Bilingual is a plus
• Geographic proximity to OC Doors site; Charlotte or Dallas area preferred
• Travel 25-50%

Program Lead (Operations Program Manager)

Provides leadership for large-scale, cross-functional business initiatives spanning multi-site manufacturing operations, engineering, supply chain, finance, and commercial teams. Drives successful execution of enterprise-wide operational transformation programs that improve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and profitability.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with production teams, cross-functional stakeholders, senior leadership, customers, and external partners. The successful candidate will consistently deliver projects on schedule and within budget while leading teams to achieve strategic and operational objectives.

• Documented Lean-Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt training required; however, other comparable LSS certifications or training may be considered
• Experience with Lean Material Replenishment, Flow Systems (eg. Replenishment Pull Systems, CONWIP, Heijunka, Tugger Train use, etc) and Total Productive Maintenance
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, supply chain, or other comparable field required
• Advanced degree preferred but not required
• PMP certification preferred but not required
• Significant finance experience, especially P&L responsibility, is a PLUS
• Experience in discrete and continuous manufacturing environments, make to order and build to stock business models
• Bilingual is a plus
• Geographic preference: Resident office; Proximity to OC Doors site and major airport hub desired. Charlotte or Dallas area preferred
• Percentage of travel 25-50%
