Job summary

Lonza in Bend, Oregon, is seeking an Operations Production Specialist to help ensure manufacturing operations run safely and in GMP compliance. This is a fully site-based role, with collaboration across Operations, Quality, and MSAT to support production readiness and process improvements.

You will manage batch records, prepare production documents, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while working in a fast-paced biotech production environment.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• GMP-regulated manufacturing environment experience preferred in biotech/pharma.
• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices, data integrity, and electronic batch records.
• Experience supporting quality systems, investigations, or compliance activities.
• Familiarity with project management tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage batch records, forms, logbooks, and other controlled manufacturing documents.
• Prepare, review, and issue production documentation to support manufacturing readiness.
• Review completed batch records and electronic data for accuracy and data integrity.
• Support GMP compliance activities, investigations, corrective actions, and process changes.
• Help maintain inspection readiness and support audits.
• Lead or contribute to Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and MSAT teams to deliver projects and improve site performance.
