Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of professional experience in developmental disabilities, mental health, counseling, guidance, social work, or rehab programs.
• One year of experience writing formal business communications (emails).
• Two years of professional supervisory experience; master's degree can substitute for one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct employees; hire, transfer, suspend, promote, discharge, assign, and evaluate staff.
• Duties require lifting, pulling, and squatting and apply Total Quality Management principles.
• Act as a consultant to Mental Health Program Analysts; assist with training and provide caseload coverage.
• Facilitate recovery plan meetings; coordinate agendas and minutes; complete assessments and schedules; build therapeutic relationships.
• Ensure patient participation in care planning; advocate; resolve conflicts; build effective teams.
• Complete risk, quality, and management summaries and reports.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with patients and staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
