Breuckelen Athletic in Brooklyn, NY seeks a full-time operations and member experience specialist to help deliver exceptional service and smooth facility operations. You will greet members, support events, develop SOPs, and coordinate onboarding and communications.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hospitality, operations, or related fields, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a proactive, team-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in hospitality, operations, customer service, administration, fitness, or a related field preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional email etiquette.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Greet every member and guest with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Support operational goals and growth initiatives, including events, SOP development, and implementation or improvement of operational systems and technology platforms.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and operational responsibilities while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Tour prospective members around the club with the goal of converting them into long-term members.
• Respond to member and prospect inquiries in a professional, timely, and energetic manner.
• Execute opening and closing procedures to ensure the club operates smoothly.
• Maintain exceptional facility standards through cleaning, organization, and equipment upkeep.
• Coordinate startup sessions and onboarding experiences for new members.
• Support business operations including email communication, member administration, and marketing initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture while upholding Breuckelen Athletic’s standards and values.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Breuckelen Athletic is a high-end training and recovery facility based in Gowanus/Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, NY. Our mission is to provide the best training and recovery experience for members across their needs and build meaningful relationships with our members. We're not led by social likes, before or after pictures, or for trendy fixes. We focus on life and mental well-being through fitness, and promote the love the of process.

WHO WE NEED:

We are looking for 1-2 full-time team members who are excited to grow with us and contribute meaningfully to the continued success of Breuckelen Athletic. We are seeking individuals who bring a solid professional foundation, take pride in their work, and are ready to step into a role that requires ownership, initiative, and strong judgment. This is a full-time salaried role, with the expectation that the individual is able to bring a level of experience and coach ability that will allow them to jump in but also learn collaboratively from their team members.

This team member will play an important role in the day-to-day success of the business, helping ensure our members receive an exceptional experience while supporting smooth and efficient operations throughout the facility. We're looking for someone who can confidently solve problems, manage responsibilities independently, and consistently deliver a high standard of service and execution.

All team members will have set schedules but applicants should have early morning, evening and/or weekend availability.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 2+ years of professional experience in hospitality, operations, customer service, administration, fitness, or a related field preferred.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and highly personable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional email etiquette.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think proactively.
• A strong customer service mindset and a genuine desire to help people.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while balancing both operational and administrative responsibilities.
• Comfortable taking ownership of projects and following them through to completion.
• Passion for the Breuckelen Athletic brand and mission.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience as an executive assistant, hospitality professional, operations coordinator, member experience specialist, or digital marketing professional is a plus.
• Able to lift and move gym equipment weighing 15-45 lbs frequently and 50+ lbs occasionally.
