Job summary

Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia is seeking an Operations Mechanic I to support hospital mechanical equipment and infrastructure, including chillers, compressors, PTAC units, BAS controls, medical air systems, plumbing, life safety and electrical systems. You will perform rounds, preventive maintenance, and respond to house calls, keeping routine records of inspections and repairs.

Performs daily rounds to ensure that all building systems are operating properly. Performs preventative maintenance and work orders as assigned. Assists with the performance of urgent, corrective, routine, preventative, and requisitioned repairs of electrical, mechanical and plumbing equipment and systems as directed by senior-level staff or supervisor. 3. Maintains routine records of all inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs performed on any equipment or system. Understanding of electrical safety and lockout/tagout standards.
