Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Irving, TX facility. You will plan, direct, schedule, and assign duties to warehouse staff, mentor and motivate teams, and coordinate with other departments to improve efficiency and cohesion.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and hands-on leadership to maintain inventory accuracy, safeguard assets, and control costs while ensuring safety and excellent

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in recruitment of hourly employees for the warehouse.
• Directs planning, scheduling, and assignment of jobs for warehouse staff.
• Coaches and motivates warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
• Coordinates work activities with other departments to improve efficiency and cohesion.
• Oversees cost control measures to strengthen gross profit and contribution.
• Maintains equipment reliability through a third-party vendor and safeguards assets.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Participates in the recruitment of hourly employees for the warehouse.
• Ensures planning, direction, scheduling, and assignment of jobs for warehouse staff.
• Manages department performance through coaching, mentoring and motivation of warehouse staff.
• Coordinates work activities of warehouse operations with other departments to ensure better efficiency and cohesion.
• Oversees cost control measures to strengthen gross profit and contribution.
• Maintains operational reliability of warehouse equipment, through a third-party vendor, and safeguards company assets.
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
• Job will require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location.
• Standing/Walking 75% of the time.
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance.
• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds with hand truck/pallet jack and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand.

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex warehouse operational issues.
• Ability to be a team-player and work effectively with senior-level staff.
• Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance.
• Proficient at MS Office.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized.
• Ability to handle warehouse accounting and book-keeping.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory control system.
• Working knowledge of safety and security procedures.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 5 or more years of experience with warehouse work.
• 3 or more years of supervisory or management experience
