Job summary

Verde Clean is launching the Emerging Leader Program (ELP) to prepare the next generation of Site Managers. ELP Leaders work with Site Supervisors and Managers, learning the ropes while growing into leadership roles and driving cleaner workplaces and a greener world.

You'll receive coaching, manage real-time operational needs, and advance toward Site Supervisor or Site Manager roles, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in janitorial or facility services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel between sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and assist in daily custodial operations, including crew scheduling and task delegation.
  • Lead small teams and develop confidence in directing day-to-day activities and resolving on-site issues.
  • Train alongside Site Supervisors and Managers in performance management, coaching, recognition, and discipline.
  • Participate in and conduct quality inspections, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Help ensure teams follow OSHA and safety procedures, and participate in daily safety stretches.
  • Assist in inventory tracking and distribution of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Serve as a point of contact for crew members, communicating updates, expectations, and feedback.
  • Model and promote Verde's culture and Ver de Vibes through positivity and client-first mindset.

As an ELP Leader, you'll work side-by-side with Site Supervisors and Site Managers, learning the ropes while leading with passion and purpose.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS AN ELP LEADER

  • Model and promote Verde's culture and "Verde Vibes" through positivity, teamwork, and a client-first mindset.
  • Receive and apply ongoing leadership development training to prepare for transition into Site Supervisor or Site Manager roles.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in janitorial or facility services.
  • Passion for leadership and career growth in operations or management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comfortable working flexible shifts in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
Preferred:
  • Previous experience in a team lead or crew lead capacity.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and custodial best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and lift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds depending on job site.
  • Work is performed in active janitorial and/or construction environments.

Upon successful completion of the Emerging Leader Program, you'll be considered for promotion into roles such as Site Supervisor or Site Manager, based on your performance, location needs, and leadership readiness.
