Vice President of Operations

Lead the People Who Deliver Excellence.

At Verde, we believe cleaner workplaces create healthier people, stronger businesses, and a better planet. But we know none of that happens without exceptional people leading the way.

Every person at Verde embraces the role of Custodian First-a mindset rooted in humility, teamwork, and service. Combined with our Core Values of Safety, Sustainability, Social Impact, and Awesomeness, we've built a culture we proudly call the Verde Vibes. It's how we support one another, serve our customers, and continue raising the standard for commercial facilities services.

We're looking for a dynamic Vice President of Operations (Bilingual in Spanish) to help drive our next phase of growth.

This isn't a desk job. It's a field leadership role for someone who thrives where the work happens-coaching leaders, building relationships, solving problems, and creating operational excellence across every market we serve.

If you're passionate about developing people, driving accountability, and building organizations that perform at the highest level, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As our Vice President of Operations, you'll serve as Verde's senior field operations leader, partnering closely with our Chief Operating Officer to execute the company's operational strategy across every region.

You'll directly lead Operations Directors, Managers, and Supervisors while ensuring our customers receive consistent, high-quality service and our teams have the leadership they deserve.

Approximately 75% of your time will be spent in the field, working alongside our leaders and customers to turn strategy into measurable results.

Building Great Leaders
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Operations Directors, Managers, and Supervisors through regular one-on-ones and leadership meetings.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain exceptional operational leaders.
  • Build succession plans that strengthen Verde's future.
  • Foster an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing leadership culture.
Driving Operational Excellence
  • Execute company-wide operational standards established by the Governance Team and COO.
  • Ensure consistency across staffing, onboarding, quality inspections, training, route cards, and service delivery.
  • Identify execution gaps and work directly with field leaders to solve them.
Leading in the Field
  • Conduct Leadership Visit Reports, Joint Inspections, and quarterly operational audits.
  • Support major customer implementations, acquisitions, and operational transitions.
  • Partner with Sales during RFP walkthroughs and operational planning.
  • Serve as the executive operational leader during critical customer situations.
Strengthening Customer Partnerships
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with Verde's largest customers.
  • Support Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Coach Operations Directors on customer engagement and long-term relationship management.
Owning Business Performance
  • Partner with Finance to deliver regional financial performance.
  • Support staffing strategies, labor planning, and operational budgeting.
  • Utilize operational dashboards, HeySage, ADP, and reporting tools to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
