Job summary

Mammoet in Rosharon, TX is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead safety, operations, and people management across our field and office teams. You will develop execution plans, coordinate resources, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with Mammoet standards and customer requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, union collaboration, and a results-driven approach to meet financial targets and project commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related technical field preferred.
• 12+ years of broad and relevant industry experience in heavy lifting, construction, or related fields.
• Experience in an operations management or leadership role.
• Working knowledge of union operations, CBAs, and labor practices preferred.
• Experience managing personnel, equipment, projects, and resources.
• Strong understanding of Heavy Lifting & Transportation equipment.
• Professional-level project and contract management experience.
• Professional-level people-management experience.
• Experience with planning, resource utilization, fleet management, and equipment coordination.
• Experience with OPS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Mammoet Academy courses or willingness to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the operations function with safety, efficiency, and alignment to Mammoet standards and customer expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, coordinating personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Provide leadership to planners, supervisors, and other operational staff; mentor teams.
• Develop departmental workforce plans and execution schedules aligned to business goals.
• Support project and contract requirements; monitor performance against plans.
• Identify risks and implement solutions related to operations, contracts, and resources.
• Ensure changes in scope or requirements are communicated and addressed.
• Coordinate cost control, resource utilization, fleet management, and administration.
