Job summary

Wally Health is hiring an Operations Manager to own the day-to-day operations of a cohort of studios in the United States. You will ensure an exceptional member experience, monitor studio health, and lead on staffing, scheduling, and training to keep facilities running smoothly.

You will drive incentives for performance, manage inventory, and work with HQ to translate new ideas into scalable playbooks as we expand across locations.

The Role

Wally's Operations Manager owns the day-to-day of a cohort of studios: running daily operations so our experience is delivered to our members. This role sits at the intersection of checklists and check-ins: having a full handle on studio health, leading the on-the-ground team, and making sure every member's experience is exactly what it should be.

You'll own the operational core of 2-3 studios:utilization, staffing, member experience, and retention. You are the person who notices what's about to go wrong before it does.

What you’ll do

• Drive multi-location P&Ls: Support your studio staffing, operational throughput and utilizations, and add-on treatment sales.


• Build & support studio teams: Assist in hiring and ongoing training for your teams of dentists, hygienists, and assistants. Be their point-of-contact to help them through an equipment SOS, scheduling their holidays, and coordinating clinician training sessions to keep your teams running.


• Ensure operational performance: Keep your studios fully staffed everyday, catching gaps ahead and reacting to call outs quickly and effectively. Drive for appointment throughput that's on time and high quality for our members.


• Ensure clinician performance: Evaluate ongoing clinical performance, provide and coordinate training to help clinicians perform at the top of their range.


• Manage inventory: Know what's being used and what will be used to plan for ordering. Your team never runs out of the items they need to deliver great care.


• Work with your GM and HQ: Run studio-level experiments, translate new ideas into playbooks that can be used at other studios and other cities.

What you need to have

• Professional Background: 2-3+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment that requires quick action and attention to detail.


• Analytical Mindset: A data-driven decision-making mentality coupled with strong business judgment.


• Hustle & Execution: A creative, solutions-driven mindset with a relentless \"get things done\" bias toward action. No clinical experience needed, just fierce curiosity to learn an industry you may know nothing about.


• You know Philly: the neighborhoods, the commutes, and what makes someone choose one studio over another.


• Creating good team environments: Relationship-building skills to forge great, professional relationships with Wally clinicians and Wally members.
