EverLine Coatings and Services Baton Rouge is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily pavement maintenance operations. You will manage field crews, coordinate schedules, and ensure project safety, quality, and on-time completion.

The right candidate leads by example, is mechanically inclined, and excels in both field and office settings. You will also train crews, conduct safety briefings, communicate with customers, and ensure equipment is well-maintained and ready for jobs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in construction, pavement maintenance, or related field.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience supervising field crews.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pavement maintenance division. This individual will manage field crews, coordinate schedules, communicate with customers, maintain equipment, and ensure every project is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader who enjoys solving problems, is mechanically inclined, and thrives in both the field and the office.

Responsibilities Operations & Scheduling

• Manage daily schedules for field crews and equipment.
• Coordinate jobs to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and vehicles are prepared for each project.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed.

Crew Leadership

• Lead, train, and develop field technicians.
• Conduct morning job briefings and safety meetings.
• Maintain accountability for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Assist crews in the field when necessary.

Customer Service

• Serve as the primary point of contact before, during, and after projects.
• Meet customers on-site to review project scope and expectations.
• Communicate schedule updates and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Ensure every customer receives exceptional service.

Equipment & Fleet

• Perform routine inspections of striping machines, power washers, trailers, and company vehicles.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Maintain inventory of paint, supplies, and replacement parts.
• Keep equipment clean, organized, and job-ready.

Quality Control

• Inspect completed work for accuracy and workmanship.
• Ensure all projects meet company standards.
• Maintain OSHA and company safety compliance.
• Complete job documentation and photographs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in construction, pavement maintenance, landscaping, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience supervising field crews.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Comfortable operating or learning line striping machines, power washers, and related equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including occasional evenings or weekends during peak season.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with line striping or pavement maintenance.
• Knowledge of power washing equipment.
• Experience using CRM or scheduling software such as HubSpot, Housecall Pro, or similar systems.
• Experience estimating or quoting commercial projects.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
