A leading pavement maintenance company is seeking a Line Striping, Sealcoating And Crack Fill Tech to perform a variety of projects across the city. Responsibilities include using specialized equipment for line painting, crack filling, and seal coating while ensuring safety standards are met. Ideal candidates will possess a local driver's license, be self-motivated, and have a background in engineering or experience with small engines. Qualifications

• Local full driver's license with a clean record required.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs and work physically demanding tasks.
• Experience with small engines and paint sprayers is an asset.
• Capable of physical work including walking, bending and lifting up to 75 lbs
• Ability to work well independently without supervision
• Experience with small engines or paint equipment is a plus
• Engineering background is an asset

Responsibilities

• Perform line painting, asphalt crack filling, and seal coating.
• Plan and facilitate the production of high-quality projects.
• Communicate job status daily with the Operations Manager.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free work site and follow safety guidelines
• Perform additional duties as required by the project or supervisor

Job Summary

Our Pavement Maintenance Technicians utilize our specialized equipment and apply materials on pavement surfaces in order to provide maximum value for our clients' pavement assets.

Responsibilities

• Use equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crack filling and seal coating, power washing, epoxy flooring, and more
• Plan and facilitate the production of a high-quality project
• Communicate job status daily with the Operations Manager
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free job site
• Additional tasks as required

Qualifications

• An [local full license] driver’s license with a clean driving record (Driver’s Abstract is required) and a reliable mode of transportation
• You are a self-motivated, critical thinker that likes to problem solve
• You understand the importance of punctuality, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role with lots of walking, bending, and lifting (up to 75lbs)
• Ability to work well independently unsupervised
• Past experience with small engines (like lawnmowers) and/or paint sprayers is an asset
• An Engineering educational background is an asset
