Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Operations Department and oversee Purchasing, Estimating, Design and Permitting functions. You will drive manufacturing process planning, define staffing needs, and ensure adherence to quality and cost controls.

The role requires 7–10 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to travel overnight as needed. Strong MS Office and AS400 skills are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college.
• 7–10 years related experience and/or training.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Purchasing, Estimating, Design and Permitting Departments.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing operations business plans including program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs and image.
• Establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, obtain data on products ordered.
