Job summary

US Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, Great Lakes and Ohio River Division, is seeking an Operations Manager for the Lower Ohio River Locks and Dams Projects. Based in Louisville, KY, you will oversee a diverse team of 70-75 staff across professional, technical, trades, and support roles to ensure efficient operations and maintenance of navigation facilities.

Time-in-grade/GS requirements may apply for federal service positions.

Responsibilities

Supervise, plan, direct, monitor, and execute the operations and maintenance program for Lower Ohio River Projects.
Represent the District in dealings with Federal, State, and local entities.
Support project planning and coordination with Construction Division and other District entities.
Conduct field visits to verify work and provide input for modifications.
Oversee day-to-day operations of navigation facilities and meet customer needs.
