Job summary

R&D Maintenance Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway Project, responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair of navigation facilities. This role includes managing personnel and ensuring safety compliance.

Applicants should have at least seven years of management experience in industrial maintenance and familiarity with safety standards. Benefits include company-paid health insurance and 401K contributions.

Qualifications

• Seven years progressively responsible management level experience in industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 and applicable OSHA regulations.
• Experience supervising employees for a government agency, preferably the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate work of skilled and semi-skilled employees for maintenance and construction.
• Maintain safe work performance and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Organize, direct, and plan resources for project facilities.

Skills

Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions

Ability to plan, organize, and supervise work

Knowledge of human resource management

Ability to manage multiple maintenance procedures

Effective communication skills

Education

High School Diploma and applicable technical or administrative training
