Job summary

You will apply Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, SMED and Kaizen methods, oversee maintenance, and mentor 50+ employees while collaborating with area managers, shop personnel, and engineers to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Verifiable record of improving operational efficiency and costs.
• Understanding of change management and how to build positive work environments.
• Excellent communication across a wide spectrum including other area managers, technical and shop personnel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Internet, Outlook, and Heat Treat Furnace Software.
• Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, SMED, Kaizen experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and revise quality and production procedures to ensure customer requirements.
• Manage multiple production teams, totaling up to 50+ individuals.
• Ensure routine inspection and preventive maintenance are performed on assigned equipment and defects or needed repairs are reported to manager.
• Ensure equipment and work area are properly maintained and cleaned.
• Follow safety procedures and orientations as set forth in training.
