Job summary

Emler Swim School in Issaquah, WA seeks an Operations Manager to lead our active team. This full-time role blends hands-on pool presence with coordinating schedules, training, and customer-focused initiatives.

You will mentor staff, drive team meetings, and craft a fun, safe work environment while delivering exceptional experiences to students and families. Training will be provided to grow leadership and aquatic expertise.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 3 years of relevant work experience may be considered.
• 1-2 years of management experience.
• Excellent performance record reporting to a General Manager or Supervisor.
• Genuine love for teaching children.
• Ability to resolve problems on the spot and provide great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive exceptional customer experiences by calmly and proactively handling challenges.
• Perform daily operations including teaching swim lessons, deck management, and customer engagement.
• Evaluate student progress using our teaching curriculum and service processes.
• Create and manage class and employee schedules to positively impact the business.
• Lead regular team meetings and manage employee engagement.
• Develop team members at various career stages, including new entrants.

Responsibilities Include:

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Undergraduate College degree preferred (3 years of relevant work experience may be considered)
• 1-2 years of management experience
• Excellent performance record reporting to a General Manager or Supervisor while leading, motivating, and empowering a skilled and productive team
• A genuine love for teaching children
• Ability to recognize problems and resolve on the spot
• Excellent customer service skills - it must be natural for you to want to say "yes!"
• Ability to set goals, create plans and convert plans into action

Pay Range

USD $25.00 - USD $36.06 /Hr.

Pay and Perks
