Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily retail and service operations, including store, fuel, restaurant, and truck care. You will lead a team, manage processes, and implement strategies to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes budgeting, P&L understanding, scheduling, reporting, and collaboration with other managers to grow sales and maintain a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
• 2+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+ million.
• 2+ years deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on responsibility of multiple business operations including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
• Ensure a safe, clean, well-maintained facility through restroom/shower cleanliness, facilities, equipment maintenance, and safety checks.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, scheduling, cash integrity, and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
• Understand financial reporting including profit and loss statements and implement opportunities to improve performance.
• Collaborate with managers in talent acquisition efforts.
