Love's Travel Stops is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee multiple business operations, including retail, fuel, and food service, ensuring safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role leads a team, manages processes, and drives sales growth while aligning with company strategies and goals.

The position requires 2+ years in retail/operations management, budget and P&L experience, and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
• 2+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+ million.
• 2+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on responsibility of multiple business operations up to and potentially including retail store, fuel, restaurant, fresh kitchen, and truck care.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through safety checks and equipment maintenance.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising standards.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, schedule and cash integrity, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Understand financial reporting, analyze profit and loss statements, and implement changes to capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with managers in talent acquisition.
