Position Summary

The Operations Manager in Training is a working manager responsible for learning all aspects of the performance and effective operation of a Mike's location in preparation for a General Manager role. They will motivate team members, ensure profitability, and report to a District Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute the Mike’s Purpose and Team Member Promise. Be a role model for behavior and performance.
• Satisfy Customers. Ensure customer satisfaction, handle complaints professionally, and respond to feedback.
• Develop Management and Wash Associates. Conduct checklists, coaching, training, and manage staffing and discipline.
• Maximize Location Profitability. Increase profits, control expenses, and manage records and inventories.
• Ensure Operational Excellence. Complete checklists, follow up on issues, and maintain staffing guidelines.
• Create a Safety Conscious Culture. Promote safety, conduct safety meetings, and report injuries.
• Attend Operations Meetings. Participate in quarterly meetings, take notes, and stay informed.
• Comply with Policies and Perform Other Duties.

Work Schedule

• Average 40 hours/week, including every other weekend.
• Capable of closing one night and opening one morning weekly.
• Work full schedule during holiday periods like Christmas.
• Transferability within the market and region.

Physical Demands

Must communicate effectively, stand/walk continuously, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks as described.

Work Environment

Work outdoors, with machinery, chemicals, and safety gear as needed.
