Job summary

The Graham Park Exhibition Center in Rochester, MN, operated by Oak View Group, seeks an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day venue operations, event conversions, and safety compliance under the Director of Operations. The role focuses on delivering high standards for exhibitors, guests, and staff while coordinating maintenance and logistics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience with event changeovers & the general functions of the Operations Department.
• Knowledge of management principles, with emphasis on working with & training staff.
• Knowledge of boilers, chillers, and refrigeration is helpful.
• Ability to climb stairs and lift heavy objects unaided.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended numbers of consecutive days.
• Must be able to, or willing to learn how to operate equipment such as skidloader, pallet jacks, telehandlers, and others.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and hands-on execution of facility operations for the Graham Park Exhibition Center. Working under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Operations Manager provides leadership for venue operations, event conversions, facility readiness, maintenance coordination, and safety compliance. This position serves as a key member of the management team and is responsible for ensuring the facility is maintained at the highest standards while delivering exceptional experiences for event organizers, exhibitors, guests, participants, and community stakeholders.

This role pays an annual salary of $48,000 - $52,000

About The Venue

The Graham Park Exhibition Center is a brand new facility in Rochester, MN, built by Olmsted County and managed by Oak View Group. The newly constructed 82,000-square-foot facility will be home to trade shows, fundraisers, equine events, comedians, concerts, weddings, and more.
