Like To Move It Movers, LLC is seeking a Charlotte-based operations lead to run the Charlotte branch day to day—the schedule, crews, trucks, and escalation calls.

You'll build weekly calendars, hire and train crews, walk estimates, keep trucks in good order, and report weekly results to the owner; this role shapes how the city moves and how the team performs under pressure.

Qualifications

• You've run an operation with vehicles and hourly crews.
• Comfortable hiring and comfortable letting somebody go when it isn't working.
• Can hold a day together when two jobs run long and a third is waiting.
• Straight with a customer when the news is bad.
• Valid license and a clean record.
• Living in the Charlotte metro, or moving there before the fall.

Job description

Runs the Charlotte branch day to day: the schedule, the crews, the trucks, and the phone call when a job goes sideways.

This is the first Charlotte hire who isn't on a truck, and it's the one that decides whether the rest of it works. You'd take a market with no crew, no routine and no history in the city, and turn it into a week that runs itself.

Before the opening the job is hiring, training and setting up. After it, the job is dispatch, quality and the customers unhappy enough to ask for a manager.

Full-time, based in Charlotte. Pay is set on experience and we talk about it on the first call.
