Mountain Terrace Senior Living is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily community operations and resident services in a welcoming, home-like environment.

This role partners with the Executive Director to maintain resident satisfaction, staffing, and regulatory compliance while leading a compassionate, service-focused team dedicated to quality care and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Must meet education and qualification requirements established by state assisted living regulations.
  • Must meet age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
  • Must possess, or be willing to obtain, Assisted Living Executive Director certification within required state timeframes.
  • Must successfully complete all required background checks, health screenings, and drug testing requirements.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Executive Director to oversee daily community operations and resident services.
  • Foster a positive, resident-centered culture focused on exceptional customer service and quality care.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and community partners.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and retention initiatives.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet resident needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and motivate team members through communication, accountability, recognition, and professional development.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident, family, and employee concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with Resident Rights, HIPAA requirements, company policies, and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with Wellness and Marketing to support resident admissions and occupancy goals.
  • Participate in customer service planning meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee maintenance, safety, appearance, and security of the community.
  • Promote collaboration and teamwork across all departments.
  • Serve as acting community leader in the absence of the Executive Director.

Mountain Terrace Senior Living is seeking an Operations Manager to join our community!

We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and service-focused leader to support the daily operations of our assisted living community. This role partners closely with the Executive Director to create and maintain a welcoming, home-like environment where residents thrive, employees feel valued, and exceptional service remains the top priority.

The Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting resident satisfaction, team development, regulatory compliance, staffing, customer service, and overall community operations. What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:

- Leadership experience in assisted living, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to build relationships with residents, families, employees, and community partners.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in challenging situations.
- Knowledge of assisted living operations and regulations preferred.
- Passion for serving seniors and creating a positive workplace culture.
