Position Overview

We are seeking an Operations Manager/Sr. Civil Engineer with land development experience to lead projects for clients in the public and private sectors. The position can be based out of Wilkes-Barre, Olyphant, or Hazleton offices.

Responsibilities

• Design of subdivisions and land development
• Zoning and approvals process
• Stormwater management
• Site design, grading, and erosion and sediment control plans
• Site utilities
• PennDOT/DEP permitting
• Hydraulic calculations
• Cost estimating
• Preparing project proposals, managing contracts, reports, and invoicing
• Mentoring junior engineers and designers

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer license
• Prior land development experience
• Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills
• Project and client management experience
• Experience mentoring junior staff
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Valid driver’s license for travel
• Availability for evening meetings
• Ability to obtain necessary clearances for PA projects
