Job summary

Head Hospitality LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across its brands, including Pop’s Lemonade Company, Cheddar Box, Well Rounded Mini Donuts, and catering services in Texas.

The candidate will partner with the COO to implement scalable systems, strengthen operational performance, and drive growth while maintaining exceptional guest experiences. Travel between locations is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or similar field is required.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, restaurant/retail operations, or operations management is required.
  • Food Manager’s Certification and valid Texas Auto Liability Insurance are required.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 + Performance Bonus Eligibility

Summary/Objective:

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of all Head Hospitality brands, including Pop’s Lemonade Company, Cheddar Box, Well Rounded Mini Donuts, and Head Hospitality Catering.

This role ensures operational consistency, leadership development, financial performance, and exceptional guest experiences by supporting Department Leads and Location Leaders while continuously improving systems, processes, and execution across the organization.

Serving as the primary operational leader, the Operations Manager exercises sound judgment in resolving day-to-day operational challenges, develops leaders to make confident decisions, and creates scalable systems that support the continued growth of Head Hospitality. This position works closely with the COO to implement strategic initiatives, strengthen operational performance, and build scalable systems that support the continued growth of Head Hospitality.

Required education and experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or Similar Field of Study
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, restaurant/retail operations, or operations management (required)
  • Experience managing multiple teams or locations (preferred)
  • Food Manager’s Certification
  • Valid Texas Automobile Liability Insurance

Essential Functions:
  • Lead and oversee daily operations across multiple brands and locations.
  • Develop, coach, and support Department Leads and Location Leaders.
  • Monitor operational performance and implement solutions that improve efficiency, consistency, and profitability.
  • Build and maintain operational systems that support long-term organizational growth.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
  • Travel regularly between company locations using a personal vehicle as operational needs require.
  • Represent Head Hospitality professionally with team members, guests, vendors, partners, and community organizations.
  • Follow and enforce all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
  • Directly lead, coach, and develop Department Leads and Location Leaders across all Head Hospitality brands.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide coaching, accountability, leadership development, and performance feedback with location leaders and department heads
  • Establish clear performance expectations and hold leaders accountable for operational and financial results.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, succession planning, and leadership development in collaboration with the Hiring Coordinator and COO.
  • Reinforce Head Hospitality’s mission, vision, core values, service standards, and leadership expectations throughout the organization.
  • Empower Department Leads and Location Leaders to confidently solve day-to-day operational challenges while providing guidance and support when escalation is appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary operational escalation point for leaders when operational challenges cannot be resolved at the department or location level.
Operational Performance:
  • Monitor key operational metrics, including sales, labor, cost of goods sold, guest experience, and operational scorecards.
  • Partner with Department Leads and Location Leaders to develop action plans that improve operational consistency, staffing effectiveness, and overall business performance.
  • Ensure company systems, procedures, and standards are executed consistently across all locations.
  • Drive accountability through regular operational reviews and performance discussions.
    Operational Support:
    • Ensure all locations have the equipment, inventory, staffing resources, and operational support necessary for success.
    • Provide leadership and oversight for company fleet vehicles and operational equipment by ensuring appropriate maintenance, repairs, cleanliness, and overall operational readiness are consistently managed by the responsible team members.
    • Ensure inventory management systems, forecasting, ordering procedures, and waste management practices are consistently executed across all operations.
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve operational issues and maintain strong business relationships.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to ensure promotions, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and marketing initiatives are executed consistently across all locations according to established timelines and brand standards.
    Compliance & Brand Standards:
    • Conduct regular operational audits evaluating food safety, health code readiness, guest experience, cleanliness, and brand standards.
    • Partner with leaders to correct operational deficiencies and maintain continuous compliance.
    • Ensure all operations comply with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Partner with Department Leads and Location Leaders to develop and manage operational budgets.
    • Monitor labor, cost of goods sold, inventory performance, pricing, and overall operational profitability.
    • Review financial performance regularly and develop action plans that improve efficiency and financial results.
    • Ensure safe cash-handling procedures, deposit accountability, and operational financial controls are consistently followed.
    • Support pricing decisions and cost awareness in collaboration with leadership.
    Project Management:
    • Lead and coordinate operational projects, including equipment upgrades, process improvements, menu implementations, software rollouts, and other company initiatives.
    • Ensure projects are completed efficiently, communicated effectively, and implemented successfully across all brands.
    • Attend leadership meetings and company functions as requested.
    • Support special projects and strategic initiatives.
    • Maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, partners, and community organizations.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced food service and operational environment

    • Ability to access and navigate all areas of multiple work environments
    • Ability to lift a minimum of 25–50 pounds as needed

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours, based on operational needs (40-50 hours/week)
