Job summary

Eightx, a provider of fractional CFO services for ecommerce brands, seeks an Operations Manager to own the delivery system across FP&A and Bookkeeping. You will ensure on-time delivery, the month-end close calendar, capacity planning, SOPs, and documentation while supervising remote teams.

Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will build scalable processes, manage people, uphold quality, handle escalation, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in operations, delivery or service management.
• Experience leading remote teams across time zones and building scalable processes.
• Strong judgment, backbone and the ability to enforce standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating system across client-delivery teams (FP&A and Bookkeeping).
• Ensure on-time delivery, maintain the month-end close calendar, and plan capacity.
• Develop SOPs, documentation, and quality control; manage people and escalation.

Eightx provides fractional CFO services for fast-growing ecommerce brands and agencies across Canada, the US and the UK. We are growing fast and that growth has outpaced our operations, which is exactly the problem we are hiring you to own. As Operations Manager you make sure the work gets done, on time, to standard, without everything routing through the founder.

You will own the operating system across our client-delivery teams (FP&A and Bookkeeping): on-time delivery and the month-end close calendar, capacity and resource planning, SOPs and documentation, people management and quality control, and escalation and compliance. You report directly to the Managing Partner, with a real path to Head of Operations. Required: 5+ years in operations, delivery or service management (professional services, accounting/finance, BPO, or a client-delivery agency); a track record managing remote teams across time zones; the ability to build and enforce process; strong judgment and backbone; and comfort in a modern, AI-heavy tool stack. Fully remote with daily overlap with Pacific or Eastern Time.
