Job summary

People Architects in Ohio seeks an Interim Operations Manager to lead our client’s injection molding operations. You will drive production scheduling, inventory control, logistics, and maintenance to ensure safe, high-quality output.

You will coach production team leads, tool room, and warehouse staff; monitor KPIs; and partner with sales, engineering, and finance to meet on-time delivery and cost targets while upholding OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations or production management in an injection molding environment.
• Strong leadership to motivate and guide teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

People Architects is recruiting for our direct client, a family-owned, full-service custom injection molder and contract manufacturer based in Northeast Ohio.

We are seeking an Interim Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leadership within plastic injection molding, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and requirements. The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of production, logistics, maintenance, and inventory to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This role requires a knowledgeable and flexible leader who can manage people and processes, problem solve and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost control.
