Role Overview
The Operations Manager is essential to the operations process, supporting program management and the on-site execution of ETHOS services. This role works closely with the Sales, Experience + Design, Operations, and Administration teams to deliver full-service DMC programs with an emphasis on client goals, operational excellence, and community development.
The Operations Manager develops strong working relationships with clients throughout the planning process, helping finalize program details and build the trust necessary for successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning + Coordination
- Lead the detailed planning and coordination required to successfully execute programs.
- Book and coordinate all necessary program elements, including transportation, staffing, vendors, and contracted event services.
- Manage logistical details and timelines throughout the planning process.
- Work closely with the Account Executive and Experience + Design team to ensure accurate program files.
- Support a smooth transition from sales into operations.
- Confirm that all program elements are properly secured, documented, and communicated prior to execution.
- Lead, Manage + Hold Accountable
- Lead and oversee the operational success of assigned programs with a focus on organization, accountability, and execution.
Maintain accurate and organized program files.
- Provide clear direction, performance feedback, and professional accountability.
- Support efficient work processes across program teams.
- Ensure program responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables are clearly understood.
- Collaborate across departments to identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain high-level oversight of program execution from planning through completion.
- Financial Oversight + Accuracy
- Maintain strong financial controls while managing vendor relationships, client expectations, and overall program profitability.
Confirm vendor and supplier services at accurate pricing.
- Create and maintain detailed program costings.
- Monitor budgets and ensure programs align with company financial goals.
- Maintain oversight of expenses related to assigned programs and departmental responsibilities.
- Protect program profitability while identifying opportunities to enhance client value.
- Support new business and client success through thoughtful operational planning and financial stewardship.
- On-Site Event Management + Delivery
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact during program execution and ensure every element is deliveredsmoothly and professionally.
Manage transportation, field staff, off-site events, dine-arounds, activities, décor, entertainment, and other program components.
- Coordinate vendors, partners, staff, and program logistics on-site.
- Troubleshoot challenges quickly and professionally.
- Represent ETHOS with confidence, professionalism, and hospitality.
- Serve as the primary client contact throughout program operation.
- Maintain the flexibility required to support client and program needs, including 24/7 availability during active programs.
- Strategic Relationship Building + Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, hoteliers, vendors, and industry partners to strengthen programsand support long-term business growth.

Develop trusted working relationships with industry partners, hotels, vendors, and clients.
- Attend networking events and industry engagements as appropriate.

- Hold partners accountable to agreed-upon service standards.
- Stay connected to destination resources, vendors, and emerging opportunities.
- Support the continued expansion and improvement of ETHOS service offerings.
Associate’s degree or equivalentexperience
Three or more years total work experience with a minimum of 1 yearoperations experience in hospitality, event services, or related field
