Job summary

Duke's Root Control, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for our CCTV & Cleaning and SSES lines of service.

You will guide field crews and project managers, coordinate people and resources, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and to a high standard. This role blends office and field work in Michigan, with regular travel throughout the assigned area.

• Ensure projects are properly staffed and resourced and are delivered according to safety, scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer requirements
• Monitor production, labor and equipment utilization, customer satisfaction, safety, and financial performance
• Resolve staffing, scheduling, equipment, project, and customer issues before they affect results
• Plan workforce and equipment needs across multiple projects and locations
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop employees, managers, and future operational leaders
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, audits, inspections, and incident follow-up
• Drive consistent use of Duke’s operating standards, company procedures, and corrective actions across all projects and locations
• Build productive customer relationships and serve as an escalation point for operational concerns
• Partner with Sales, Safety, Fleet, Finance, and Shared Services to support growth, forecasting, and business priorities
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, consistency, efficiency, and execution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Description

As the Operations Manager for our CCTV & Cleaning and SSES lines of service, you will guide field crews, project managers, coordinate people and resources, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and to a high standard.

If you are a decisive, hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, solving complex operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement, we’d like to hear from you. Underground infrastructure experience is required.

This position is a combination of office and field work environments. Regular travel throughout assigned area and project locations is expected. There will be occcasional exposure to active construction sites, municipal infrastructure, traffic, equipment operations, confined space environments, and varying weather conditions. Occasional evenings, weekend, and emergency response support may be required.
