Overview

Job Title: Operations Manager / Service Center Manager

Location: Louisville, KY

Position Overview: As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in helping us meet goals by leading operations within specific departments on the production floor. Your leadership will be key in fostering a safe, efficient, and engaged workplace focused on continuous improvement and excellence.

Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Managing a team of operators to kit and deliver components per customer demand.
  • Supporting customers' just-in-time inventory strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a flexible operation that can quickly adjust to customer demand and schedule changes.
  • Maintain precise inventory records and communicate with the corporate division regarding delivery of critical items to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure customer quality expectations are met by maintaining operational standards, auditing performance, and repairing product within scope.
  • Ensure production schedule is met by identifying needs, anticipating challenges, and adjusting to achieve success.
  • Eliminate waste and continuously improve production processes to meet increasing demand by improving productivity.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and develop and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigate quality trends and partner with quality resources to prevent future issues.
  • Ability to provide clear expectations to employees and manage outcomes using praises and redirects.
  • Ensure a safe work environment for all operators.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting or a college degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Leadership
  • Understanding of 5S Manufacturing Principles
  • Proven track record of implementing sustainable changes and improvements
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Ability to work 1st shift hours (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM) to meet production and customer demands
  • Supervising a team of 5-10 employees
  • Hands-on, action-oriented leader with a passion for problem solving and team development
  • Ready to embrace the implemented leadership responsibilities
  • Committed to completing New Leader Training
  • Demonstrates and promotes company core values in all actions and decisions
  • Background and drug test will be required
