Job summary

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company serving major wireless providers. The Operations Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, drive efficiency, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include supervising receiving, storage, fulfillment, shipping, KPI management, and cross-functional collaboration to meet SLAs and customer needs. Strong leadership and data-driven decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume environment with P&L exposure.
  • Proficient in managing workload, meeting deadlines, and driving efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for data-driven decisions.
  • Independent, proactive, and able to lead a warehouse team.
  • Experience with WMS, inventory software, and MS Office.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of project management and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities: receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Develop and implement policies to streamline workflows and boost productivity.
  • Manage reports, daily P&L, and participate in P&L calls with Corporate management.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize costs.
  • Meet or exceed daily KPIs with accurate reporting to customers.
  • Lead and motivate staff, provide training and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate operations and fulfill customer needs.
  • Communicate with Corporate and customers to ensure SLA adherence and issue resolution.
  • Address employee relations matters and escalate issues as needed.
  • Provide escalation support and work with Corporate resources for process improvements.
  • Utilize WMS and other tools to track performance and generate reports.

Job description

The Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating various departments, ensuring smooth workflow, driving P&L results and achieving operational goals. This includes but is not limited to, overseeing production processes, managing budgets, implementing strategies to improve efficiency, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to streamline workflow, improve productivity, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Manage reports, statistical analysis, and daily P&L reporting. This may include participating in daily P&L calls with Corporate management.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize inventory management processes to minimize stock outs, overstock, and inventory holding costs.
  • Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
  • Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a positive and high-performing team culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to coordinate warehouse operations and address customer needs and requirements.
  • Communicates effectively with Corporate management and customers to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), meeting customer expectations, and promptly resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Provide the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts.
  • Collaborates with Corporate to facilitate escalations involving corporate resources (IT, network, etc.) for troubleshooting or process improvement purposes.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports for analysis and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
Required Skills And Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience (preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced production, manufacturing, distribution or service environment), including experience working with P&L/budgets.
  • Proficient in managing a demanding workload, prioritizing tasks and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Capable of working independently and engaging proactively within the warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, motivate, and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset and a focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient knowledge of Project Management and the importance of prioritizing deadlines.
  • General knowledge of OSHA Standards.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience
