Qualifications

• Experience managing office operations or administrative functions in a professional services or financial environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with office software, CRM systems, and document management tools; comfort learning new technology platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Knowledge of or interest in retirement, Social Security, and Medicare planning is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support teams, build collaborative working relationships, and resolve operational issues.
• Understanding of basic compliance and confidentiality requirements in a financial or advisory setting.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Role Description

The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Des Moines, IA, responsible for overseeing daily office operations and supporting efficient delivery of financial services. This position manages workflows, scheduling, and administrative processes to ensure timely client onboarding, documentation, and follow-up. The Operations Manager will coordinate with financial advisors, maintain and improve operational procedures, and help ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met. Day-to-day tasks include managing the paperwork process: generating and processing paperwork, monitoring performance metrics, optimizing systems and tools, and contributing to process improvements that enhance client experience and operational efficiency. The role also involves handling vendor relationships, managing office resources, and collaborating with leadership on operational planning. Grow with us! This role could develop into the VP Operations, SVP Operations and the COO position.

Pay Package

Salary $30,000-$60,000 based on experience

Quarterly bonus based on company revenue
