Inceed is partnering with a great company to recruit an Operations Manager in Houston, TX. You will lead a team of Transportation Coordinators, drive day-to-day freight operations, and shape the customer experience through process improvement, communication, and accountability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
• 2–4 years of leadership or team management experience.
• Experience supporting operational workflows in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Transportation Coordinators.
• Oversee truckload, LTL, hotshot, and specialized logistics operations.
• Serve as escalation support for customer and carrier issues.
• Partner on business reviews and transportation strategy improvements.
• Monitor service metrics, delivery performance, and exception trends.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Support billing accuracy and resolve customer and carrier disputes.
• Prioritize workloads and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams.
• Provide after-hours leadership support on a rotating basis.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead and develop a team of Transportation Coordinators
