Operations Manager

Presbyterian Night Shelter is known for serving the homeless in greatest need: those who have no other places to go. Those who present the greatest challenge to our community are welcome here. As the largest homeless shelter in Tarrant County, we serve approximately 1,000 men, women, and children each night.

Job Summary

Overall responsibility for the operational component of the Presbyterian Night Shelter, including janitorial service and grounds & lawn care. Responsible for the supervision of the staff in these areas and costs related to these activities while remaining within budget guidelines.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Supervisory experience.
3. Experience with the homeless population.
4. Must be proficient in basic Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
5. Must be able to remain calm under high stress and communicate effectively with guests, staff, and volunteers.
6. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations.
7. Must have a valid driver license and proof of liability insurance.

Rate of Pay

$50,000.00 annually
