Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Operations Manager for a rapidly expanding, PE-backed manufacturing company in Dayton, MN. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations and lead continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, efficiency, and productivity.

If you’re an experienced operations leader with a strong Lean manufacturing background and a drive to achieve measurable results, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do as a Operations Manager:

• Oversee daily operations to consistently meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and Lean manufacturing principles
• Monitor operational KPIs and lead teams to meet or exceed performance targets
• Lead Lean initiatives, including MDI, 5S, Kaizen, value-stream mapping, and root-cause analysis
• Identify inefficiencies and implement standardized work, visual management, and workflow improvements to reduce waste and control costs
• Lead, mentor, and coach operations staff while establishing clear performance goals and accountability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless operations and business priorities

What You Need to Bring to the Operations Manager Role:

• Strong operations leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, coach, and develop operations teams
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt and execute effectively in a rapidly growing production environment
