You will lead cross-functional teams across estimating handoff, design, permitting, underground work, installation, inspection, testing, and service.

If you thrive on translating strategic goals into daily field execution, optimizing labor and job productivity, and fostering a safety-first culture, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations & Project Delivery: Direct day-to-day operations for commercial installation, underground, design, inspection, and service teams across DFW projects.
  • Performance & Budgeting: Monitor job costs, labor productivity, project budgets, backlog, work in progress, and material control to maximize profitability and resolve scope/schedule issues.
  • Quality, Licensing & Compliance: Ensure all installations, designs, and testing adhere to NFPA standards, Texas fire sprinkler licensing, and OSHA regulations. Maintain high quality-assurance standards to eliminate rework, failed inspections, and callbacks.
  • People Leadership: Supervise, coach, and retain project managers, superintendents, foremen, designers, and inspectors while championing clear performance expectations and team collaboration.
  • Process Improvement: Standardize workflows across scheduling, fleet utilization, field technology, and document control to remove operational bottlenecks.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial fire sprinkler construction, design, inspection, or service—including direct management of field/project teams.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of water-based fire protection systems, construction sequencing, code compliance (NFPA, building codes, local AHJs), and job costing.
  • Credentials: Ability to pursue applicable Texas Responsible Managing Employee (RME) credentials in the future. (Active RME, NICET, or related fire protection credentials are a strong plus, but not required at hire).
  • Mobility: Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the DFW Metroplex.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Active NICET certification, RME-G, RME-D, RME-U, RME-I, or Texas PE license.
