Job description

About Us

sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what's expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.

About the Role

As an Operations Manager for sunday, your ultimate goal will be to help deliver a best-in-class experience to restaurateurs. Your scope of action will start when a restaurant decides to use our solution: we will create its business account, collect all relevant info, provide them with tailor-made QR codes, train the restaurant team, and then help them make the most of our solution through top-notch account management. Compound that with thousands of restaurants and you have the makings of a beautiful and complex operational system. Come help us make it seem simple!

You will report to the US Operations Senior Manager, and work daily with our teams in Atlanta, Chicago, London, Paris, and beyond! You will also get to visit countless restaurants and enjoy their food :)

Join early, grow fast, and shape the journey!

  • Restaurant support & retention: Provide timely, high-quality customer support, resolving issues and escalating more complex cases as needed to maintain strong partner relationships.

  • Adoption & usage growth: Support increased product usage by identifying and applying proven tactics that encourage adoption among restaurant teams and diners.

  • Operational execution: Manage daily operational workflows (onboarding tasks, follow-ups, issue tracking) to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.

  • Process & data-driven improvement: Monitor dashboards to identify operational issues and contribute ideas to improve processes, tools, and documentation based on hands-on experience.
