Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
  • 7+ years in restaurant operations, equipment, field service, or related areas.
  • QSR industry experience preferred (management/tech).
  • Experience with procedure development or equipment deployment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of supply chain logistics is a plus.
  • People management experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field supply service initiatives across operations, equipment deployment, and yield studies.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and execute cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support category development, including testing new products and equipment.
  • Identify and root-cause risks across logistics, operations procedures, restaurant costs, and production.
  • Design and execute restaurant-based testing strategies for new procedures and equipment.
  • Develop training tools and materials to support testing and system rollout.
  • Conduct end-to-end assessments of equipment and procedures to validate effectiveness.
  • Analyze performance data to identify variation, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead system-wide yield studies, partnering with culinary and operations teams.
  • Collect and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data (e.g., servings per unit, waste).
  • Translate findings into actionable recommendations that support large-scale product deployment.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop new equipment solutions and improve existing processes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal leaders, suppliers, and franchisees.
  • Navigate governance processes to advance and execute initiatives.
  • Remove operational roadblocks and enhance system-wide efficiency.

Salary Range $70,000-$90,000

Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Manager, Operations & Field Supply Support to help drive execution across key initiatives within the McDonald’s U.S. system. This role sits at the intersection of operations, supply chain, equipment, and product deployment, playing a critical part in ensuring successful implementation of new products, processes, and cost‑saving initiatives.

You’ll partner with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and restaurant operators to deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance overall system performance.

What You’ll Do
Drive Operational Excellence & Strategy
  • Lead and support field supply service initiatives, including operations supply, equipment deployment, and yield studies
  • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to identify and execute cost‑saving opportunities
  • Support category development, including testing new products and equipment
  • Identify and root‑cause risks across logistics, operations procedures, restaurant costs, and production
Lead Testing, Deployment & Continuous Improvement
  • Design and execute restaurant‑based testing strategies for new procedures and equipment

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in restaurant operations, equipment, field service, or related areas
  • Background in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry (management and/or technology strongly preferred)
  • Experience with procedure development or equipment deployment (preferred)
  • Knowledge of supply chain logistics (a plus)
  • Previous people management experience (a plus)
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
