Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead a large portfolio in our security operations. The Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, managing a team of security professionals, and ensuring the highest level of protection for our clients' assets and personnel in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. The Operations Manager will also process payroll, create schedules, and ensure that all sites are properly staffed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard all accounts within your portfolio.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other stakeholders to respond to security incidents effectively.
• Meet with and be readily available for consistent correspondence from Property Management teams and senior leadership from all accounts.
• Monitor security operations and respond promptly to any security breaches or emergencies.
• Efficiently create schedules that maximize the talent of your security team while staying within the budgetary constraints of the account.
• Monitor and submit accurate weekly payroll for your security team.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats and trends and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field (preferred) or military service with an honorable discharge or previous law enforcement experience equivalent.
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Proven experience in security management, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in retail, residential, or commercial security.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, employees, and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate experience and ease of use for all MS Word platforms and can create spreadsheets and detailed documents on request.
• Sound knowledge of security technologies, practices, and procedures.
• Experience in conducting security assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Team player that can work effectively under pressure and respond calmly to emergencies.
• Innovative thinker that can bring solutions to complex problems with a sense of urgency.
