Improved labor hours per repair order through effective skill-based work assignment
Positive trend in departmental gross profit driven by optimized labor utilization and cost control
Reduction in repair cycle time and backlog, improving overall shop throughput
Increased customer satisfaction scores and reduced service-related complaints or escalations
Strong attendance, engagement, and participation in weekly service meetings with clear action follow-through
Consistent adherence to health and safety standards with zero preventable safety incidents
Improved employee retention and skill development within the service department
Clear visibility into individual and team performance metrics, enabling proactive management decisions
Strong cross-department collaboration resulting in fewer operational bottlenecks and rework
Resources:
Access to dealership management systems (DMS), scheduling, and productivity tracking tools
Established performance metrics, reporting dashboards, and financial (P&L) reporting
Trained service technicians, porters, and administrative support staff
Shop equipment, diagnostic tools, and technology required to perform repairs efficiently
Health and safety policies, procedures, and compliance training
Support from Service Manager, Fixed Operations leadership, and cross-functional dealership teams
