Job summary

RBC Bearings in Carson, CA seeks a manufacturing leader responsible for product line P&L and achieving KPI/CPI targets on the factory floor through problem solving and decisive action.

The role directs department supervisors, plans production to meet the sales order book, and enforces safety and policy discipline. A engineering degree and 3–5 years’ manufacturing experience are required, with aerospace experience and CNC familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a four-year college or university.
• Three to five years related manufacturing experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Desirable: Experience working in Aerospace manufacturing.
• Experienced with CNC machines and equipment.
• Familiarity with earned hours, overhead rates, and factor costs.

Job Purpose

The individual will be responsible for product line P&L and will achieve key operating metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This role is responsible for achieving both KPI and CPI results through problem solving and decision making on the factory floor.

Experience/Training/Education

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a four-year college or university and three to five years related manufacturing experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Desirable: Experience working in Aerospace manufacturing.
• Experienced with CNC machines and equipment
• Familiarity with earned hours, overhead rates, and factor costs.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

$150-170k
