Job summary

Hanes Geo Components (HGC) in Butner, NC, a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking an Operations Manager to lead shipping and production teams and coordinate material planning. The role requires supervising staff, basic forklift knowledge, and strong MS Office skills.

Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of supervisory experience, proficiency in inventory and shipping reporting, and familiarity with cycle counting.

• Manage shipping and production employees
• Establish a shipping, receiving, and productionschedule daily
• Coordinate with the Corporate purchasing team for material planning
• Direct supervision of employees
• Additional duties may be required

Qualifications

• The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in supervision and provide exceptional leadership. Basic forklift knowledge is required.
• Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting
• Experience with cycle counting is preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- or comparable systems
• An associate or bachelor'sdegree in a business-related field or operations management is preferred
