Job summary

Hanes Geo Components in Houston, TX, a division of Leggett & Platt, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee shipping, production, and warehouse activities in our geosynthetics distribution operation. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination with purchasing and manufacturing teams.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in supervision, strong math and computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Proven warehouse and production management or supervisory experience.
• Strong computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting and time reporting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or comparable systems.
• Math skills for production calculations.
• The candidate should have at least 2 years of supervision experience; forklift knowledge is a plus.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in business or operations is preferred.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Manage shipping and production employees
• Establish a shipping, receiving, and productionschedule daily

Qualifications:

• Proven successful warehouse and production management or supervisory experience
• Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- or comparable systems
• Math skills for production calculations

Qualifications:

• The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in supervision and provide exceptional leadership. Basic forklift knowledge is a plus.
• An associate or bachelor'sdegree in a business-related field or operations management is preferred
