The General Hospital Corporation is seeking a seasoned Environmental Services Leader to direct all operations at our 90 Blossom Street location. You will develop strategies, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards across facilities.
Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years in cleaning/janitorial with 3–5 years of supervisory healthcare or hospitality leadership, plus degrees in environmental sciences or related fields.

Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of environmental services operations within the organization. Develops and implements strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, promote sustainability, and maintain a clean and safe environment. Develop and implement an environmental services strategy aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Oversee all aspects of environmental services operations, including cleaning, waste management, recycling, sustainability initiatives, and general maintenance. Manage and provide leadership to environmental services supervisors and staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. Develop and implement standard operating procedures, guidelines, and training programs to ensure consistent and efficient operations across multiple locations or facilities. Collaborate with procurement and finance to manage vendor contracts, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost-effective procurement of supplies and services. Develop and implement sustainability initiatives such as energy conservation, waste reduction, and green cleaning practices.

Education: Associate's Degree Environmental Sciences required or Associate's Degree Related Field of Study required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Licenses and Credentials: Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Certified Environmental Services Executive [CESE] - Indoor Environmental Healthcare and Hospitality Association preferred
