Job summary

GS2 | B Corp™ in Blythewood, SC seeks an Operations Manager to lead daily manufacturing execution across machining, assembly, facilities and maintenance with ~45 FTEs on a multi‑shift basis.

You will drive Lean/OPEX initiatives, elevate standard of execution, build culture, and partner with EHS on safety and energy reduction initiatives. A track record of leading complex plants and delivering continuous improvement is required.

Our FTSE 100 client is looking for an Operations Manager to lead daily manufacturing execution at our primary plant in Blythewood, SC. We don't just need a plant manager we need a team builder who can act as a catalyst for change, driving Lean/OPEX practices while raising our standard of execution.

The Operations Manager Will:

• Plant Execution: Lead machining, assembly, facilities, and maintenance operations (~45 FTEs) across a multi-shift setup.
• Drive Efficiency: Champion labor productivity, cost control, asset reliability, and Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline shop-floor execution.
• Culture & Disruption: Serve as an influential leader who injects urgency, accountability, and customer focus into daily operations.
• Safety & Sustainability: Partner with EHS to advance our safety culture and oversee energy reduction/sustainability initiatives.

The Operations Manger ideally has:

• 7+ years leading complex manufacturing operations and multi-shift teams.
• Strong Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence (OPEX) experience.
• A leader comfortable working in environments that require building structure while managing daily execution.
