Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. Beaumont location is seeking an Operations Manager to lead branch performance and safety culture. You will drive daily operations, manage a growing team, and ensure top-notch service while upholding safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include reviewing metrics with leadership, fleet planning, coaching staff, and fostering a collaborative, customer-focused environment across branch operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience required.
• Proven track record developing and empowering your team.
• Maintain high standards for safety and service.
• Advanced communication skills in English, verbal and written.
• Advanced customer relations and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate typing and computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.
• Collaborate with branch staff and management to achieve sales and efficiency goals.

• Review reports with the Branch Manager to monitor performance and take corrective actions.
• Monitor fleet performance and prepare equipment requisitions.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and maintain safety culture.
• Contribute to training and career growth with coaching and guidance.
• Participate in performance reviews and develop training plans.
• Promote teamwork to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Develop and empower employees to make sound decisions.
• Maintain standards for facility, equipment, and fleet cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate with sales on leads and feedback to ensure service excellence.
• Support training assessments for inside sales teams.

Position Requirements

• Strong leadership experience 3+years required

• Review daily, weekly and monthly reports with Branch Manager to monitor branch performance and take corrective action with any deficiencies which includes developing action plans
• Monitor fleet performance and prepare equipment requisitions for additional equipment.
• Conduct monthly Safety Meeting, while maintaining safety culture
• Participate in training development of a dedicated work force while seeking to provide opportunities for career growth for each individual. Provide immediate coaching and guidance as it relates to their performance
• Participate in employee job performance reviews and develop action plans for their continual training and development
• Promote a teamwork-oriented environment to provide exceptional customer service
• Develop and empower all employees to make sound decisions
• Assist in maintaining company standards with the facility, equipment and delivery fleet. This includes cleanliness, organization and appearance of personal workspaces
• Communicate with sales on leads and customer feedback to ensure that exceptional customer service is delivered.
• Participate in monitoring and use of training assessment tools to ensure exceptional customer service skills of inside salespeople
