Operations Manager – Wood Manufacturing/Custom Production/CNC/ERP

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Pay: $130,000–$150,000 base salary

Schedule: Full-time, On-site, ~5 travel days/month

Our client is a growing manufacturer specializing in high-quality wood products for both custom and high-volume applications. Known for their craftsmanship and commitment to excellence, they combine advanced technology with hands-on expertise to deliver premium solutions to clients across the Southeast.

They are looking for you, an experienced Operations Manager who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and is ready to take the lead in a direct hire leadership role.

What You Get To Do

• Lead day-to-day operations at a flagship production facility
• Oversee a large team with 6–8 direct reports and 100+ total staff
• Optimize throughput and efficiency across custom and volume lines
• Drive performance improvements using ERP systems and operational KPIs
• Collaborate with leadership to shape and execute manufacturing strategy
• Travel to GA/TN branches ~5 days/month
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
• Strong background in wood-based industries (cabinetry, millwork, furniture, stair parts)
• Hands-on knowledge of CNC, drilling, milling, or related processes
• Proven track record managing large teams and complex workflows
• ERP system experience required
• Understanding of cost analysis and manufacturing metrics (standard cost, absorption, efficiency)
