We Elevate... Quality of urban life. Our elevators, escalators, and moving walks safely transport more than two billion of us up and down buildings and across transportation hubs every day. As part of the Schindler team, you’ll discover meaningful work that enhances quality of life for communities, and contribute to making places more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable for all. By joining us, you don’t just become part of our success story; you help shape the future and continue our rich legacy that started back in 1874.
Your Main Responsibilities:
The Operations Management program is a structured, 12‑month development experience that combines formal training with immersive, hands‑on field exposure. The program is designed to build a strong pipeline of Schindler’s most critical operational leadership roles by equipping participants with technical knowledge, business acumen, and leadership capabilities. Participants gain practical experience in the field, develop a deep understanding of Schindler’s products, services, and customers, and work closely with area, territory, and local leadership, including a dedicated mentor, to manage the maintenance and repair of elevators, escalators, and moving walks.
In addition to field experience, the program includes a structured curriculum delivered through in‑person training, eLearning modules, and cohort‑based sessions. Core focus areas include safety, product knowledge, resource planning, leadership, technician development, and financial acumen. The program is divided into three distinct phases, each with specific learning objectives. Upon completion, participants must be open to relocating to other locations within the local territory, as a permanent full‑time Field Superintendent position may not be available at their host training location near graduation.

If you don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles.
